I think it was
a lingering holiday blues
and lack of inspiration
that kept me from this space
for so long!

But my holidays
and 2012 beginnings
were lovely
(as I hope yours
were too)
so I wanted to say hello here
and welcome a new year
with the first photo I've taken recently
that makes me feel excited
and curious.

Because that's
what inspiration is,
isn't it?
Excitement
and curiosity.
