Wolff-Like
"Lena Wolff is a Bay Area artist who works in paper cut, pinpricks and collage on paper. She draws from folk-art traditions, anthropomorphic fables, organic abstractions and veneration for the natural world."
Basically, what we have here is an artist making work that combines almost all of my favorite things. Her pieces with the cream backgrounds are lovely, but the dark blue-olive-black ones just look so intense and moody that I'm completely in love.
