Since I took these,
the friends have gotten engaged!
Even though
the proposal had not yet occurred
when they visited us,
looking back
I see it
as a celebratory evening
just the same.
How was the lasagna? I thought about making that one and then decided on a butternut squash with hazelnuts one, which was fantastic. I love your top photo, your kitchen looks so nice and homey!
