I haven't had much to say
in this space recently--
I have been too busy
to formulate my thoughts.
I begin a new job on Monday
and I am nervous and excited together.
The boy's new job this past January
significantly altered the patterns
and the flow of our lives,
so I am curious
and just slightly wary
to see the new form our lives will take
with this most recent change.
I am
undoubtedly
a creature of habit and routine
but I am looking forward
to discovering
where this newness leads.

Wonderful news! and my fingers are crossed that the transition is smooth for you with many new good things.
ReplyDeleteI'm much like you; needing some level of routine in my life, but for the past 3 years we've moved around a lot and I've had several jobs (all of which I was really nervous for in the beginning!) I can relate to being exciting too though, not knowing where something will take you can be exhilerating!
ReplyDeleteoh my...good luck! I always mourn big changes like that in our lives and spend the days prior a ball of nerves. Yet, I'm always pleasantly surprised though to that all is well. I'm excited to see where your new adventure takes you!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your new job. I'm also very fond of my routines, but find that changes open my mind and help me 'think outside of the box.' At least, until I settle into a new routine...
ReplyDeletewishing you the best of luck with your new job - it is always a leap to change your routine and start something brand new, but will hopefully be very rewarding for you.
