I haven't had much to say
in this space recently--
I have been too busy
to formulate my thoughts.

I begin a new job on Monday
and I am nervous and excited together.

The boy's new job this past January
significantly altered the patterns
and the flow of our lives,
so I am curious
and just slightly wary
to see the new form our lives will take
with this most recent change.
I am
undoubtedly
a creature of habit and routine
but I am looking forward
to discovering
where this newness leads.

  2. I'm much like you; needing some level of routine in my life, but for the past 3 years we've moved around a lot and I've had several jobs (all of which I was really nervous for in the beginning!) I can relate to being exciting too though, not knowing where something will take you can be exhilerating!

  3. oh my...good luck! I always mourn big changes like that in our lives and spend the days prior a ball of nerves. Yet, I'm always pleasantly surprised though to that all is well. I'm excited to see where your new adventure takes you!

  4. Good luck with your new job. I'm also very fond of my routines, but find that changes open my mind and help me 'think outside of the box.' At least, until I settle into a new routine...
