Ten minutes after we arrived home from our trip to San Fran, the friend who was picking us up from the airport suggested that we come spend the weekend with him at his family's cabin over on the Olympic Peninsula. We were already exhausted, but how could we resist?

It was a weekend of:
-dramatic and surprising sunshine,
-Farmers market lunches,
-Trying to remember all the words to Don't Think Twice, It's Alright,
-Crackling campfires,
-A little too much wine,
-Solitary, early morning walks and forest findings,
-Pathways softened by years and years of moss, &
-Mountains and water and woods for as far as the eye can see.

It was a good weekend.
