February whales.
They sail through the room
in the quiet light
of a grey-skied afternoon
and though I've photographed them
many times before
I can't help but pick up my camera
to photograph them again.

  2. Oh, I like the hanging whales. They make the room becoming a sea.

  9. Thanks for the sweet comments guys! Glad you like the whales. :)

Zill.y: I did not make this, it was my mother's for many years while I was growing up and she gave it to me about 3 years ago. I don't know where she originally got it, unfortunately, but it is one of my most beloved possessions.

  11. So neat to have a treasure like that passed down. Are they made out of wood?

  12. Nicomi: No, they are just a stiff paper board. Quite fragile, really!
